The Eurostars Real, which faces the Playa de los Peligros beach, towers over the bay of Santander from atop the hill on which it stands, surrounded by its own gardens and resting in the heart of Santander's most peaceful and emblematic area, between the historic city centre and the Sardinero beach.

Classical sweeping French-style halls. Magnificent large windows that let the sunlight flood in. Windows offering spectacular vistas out over the Bay of Biscay.   It was on the spectacular terrace of the Hotel Real where Jorge Sepúlveda wrote his timeless song: “Mirando al mar soñé, que estabas junto a mí…” (“Looking out to sea I dreamt that you were by my side...”)

  Thalassotherapy Centre

  From outside, the building has a distinctly Versailles look to it, having previously served as the stables of the Hotel Real. Inside, however, it is one of Europe's most prominent thalassotherapy centres.
